You came into our lives

So tiny and so small

Helpless and so fragile

A delightful furry ball

Together we watched over you

Nursing you, we tried

Such a brave little boy

Your pain you tried to hide

You taught my daughter today

That life is not always fair

That sometimes what we want to be

Is not even though one cares

In your parting from this Earth

A gift you left us to pass on

That even the tiniest of things

Will remain within in us once gone

Mommy and Ashley wants you to know

Never a day will go by

Where we will forget to think of you

Of the days you were by our side

So be at ease sweet little one

Until the day we meet and can

Cross over from Rainbow Bridge
