FOSTERING
If you are visiting this page it
means you are pondering the decision to Foster a dog in your home.
It is a decision that is not to
be taken lightly. Although for the Foster Home, their main
goal in the end
is to keep the animal in
question, there is a lot of details and rules that must be abided by
and seriously
thought through. When
both parties are in accord, it can be a very fulfilling and
enjoying experience.
We on rare occasions have a
puppy/dog that we wish to place in a Foster Home. It permits
us to continue
our passion of raising this
incredible breed while at the same time permitting the animal to
enjoy the full
commitment of a family
lifestyle as every dog should. Although we would like to keep
each and every one of them
in our home personally, reality
is that a Yorkshire Terrier needs a great deal of time and
commitment.
Besides the basics of grooming,
feeding, training....we believe each and every dog deserves good
love and
care. Yorkies adore
interaction with humans!!! They soak it up! Therefore, because
we are very conscientious
to this fact, realise that
there is a certain number of dogs that can live in our home and that
we can properly
care for. Our Yorkshire
Terriers are part of our family, they do not live a kennel life.
We want no less for
a dog we are considering
Fostering.
Before Fostering a dog from our
Breeding program, there are things that you should think over and
seriously
consider. All members of
the family that will be in the daily life of the dog must be aware
of the conditions and
rules and accept to abide by
them.
The below links will explain
what we expect in a Foster Home, the conditions of Fostering one of
our furbabies,
a Questionnaire that (if after
looking all the other documentation over you feel your family is
what we are
looking for) that you can copy
and send to us and dogs that are presently being Fostered or
available for
Fostering.
Feel free to
look it all over. If you
have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us! We
are always
available to talk Yorkie!!!
